According to information received from the iHanoi application, recently, at the beginning of Nguyen Xien Street (near Ford Thang Long dealership), there has been a frequent occurrence of passenger cars stopping and parking haphazardly in the evening hours, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.

The Command Board of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police has directed local units (Traffic Police Team No. 7) to increase patrol teams on the route to handle the above violations.

Accordingly, at around 6:57 p.m. on April 4, the working group discovered a 29-seat passenger van with license plate number 29K-130.XX parked in front of house number 78 Nguyen Xien. The working group inspected and drew up an administrative violation report for the violation of "Parking where there is a no stopping and parking sign", and temporarily confiscated the driver's license to handle according to regulations.

At around 7:22 p.m. the same day, the task force discovered another Limousine passenger bus with license plate 17B-022.XX parked illegally in front of house number 92 Nguyen Xien.

Working with the traffic police, the driver named D.V.D (born in 1995; residing in Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province) explained that he did not pay attention to the sign, leading to the violation. The working group inspected, made a record of the administrative violation, temporarily confiscated the driver's license, and handled it according to regulations.

Captain Nguyen Duc Son, an officer of Traffic Police Team No. 7, said that there is a “No stopping and parking” sign in this area, and drivers know that they are violating the law, so they try to avoid it and warn the authorities when they come. However, we have recorded the violations, so the drivers cannot deny it.

According to Traffic Police Team No. 7, from April 1st to now, the unit has recorded 7 cases of passenger cars stopping and parking illegally in this area. In the coming time, the unit will continue to maintain patrol and control activities, promptly handle violations, contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety on Nguyen Xien Street.
