On April 5, Chairman of Thanh Xuan District People's Committee Vo Dang Dung chaired a meeting with voters on the Project to rearrange ward-level administrative units in Thanh Xuan District for the period 2023 - 2025, held on April 5.
According to the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units in Thanh Xuan district in the period of 2023-2025, the entire natural area and population of Thanh Xuan Nam ward will be merged into Thanh Xuan Bac ward. The name of the new ward is Thanh Xuan Bac ward. The office is in the old Thanh Xuan Bac ward.

From March 29 to April 4, the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan District organized a consultation with voters of the 4 wards that were to be merged. The results showed that over 99% of voters agreed with the plan to arrange administrative units and the name of the new ward.
At the conference, voter Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Xuan Bac Ward, said that voters of Thanh Xuan Bac Ward agreed with the plan to merge administrative units proposed by the district. Ms. Hien also requested the District Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council - People's Committee of the district to continue to pay attention to the staff and civil servants after the administrative unit arrangement.
Many other voters also said that the arrangement of administrative units will cause some problems such as changing information on personal documents and assets of people (citizen identification cards, birth certificates, real estate, personal records, etc.). Therefore, voters suggested that the district have a roadmap to resolve the conversion of personal information for people.

Responding to voters' petitions, Mr. Vo Dang Dung, Chairman of Thanh Xuan District People's Committee, said that according to the instructions of the Central Government and the City, there is a clear roadmap for the arrangement and ensuring the rights of officials. The District agrees to the policy of implementing the steps according to the process for the officials of the 4 wards subject to arrangement. In particular, the arrangement and rotation of officials will be ensured in accordance with regulations.
Regarding the change of information on personal documents after the arrangement of 4 wards, the city and district have researched, grasped information, and have a solution orientation to ensure the rights of the people in the coming time. In particular, people will not have to pay fees when redoing documents.
Regarding the adjustment of names of residential areas and residential groups in the area after implementing administrative boundary arrangement, the district will also research and rearrange to ensure scientific implementation, Mr. Dung informed.
Chairman of Thanh Xuan District People's Council Nguyen Minh Tien also requested the District People's Committee to develop a plan to disseminate and implement the conversion of documents for individuals and organizations. At the same time, create favorable conditions for individuals and organizations when carrying out procedures to convert addresses, documents, and seals in order to soon stabilize people's lives, production and business activities of enterprises, etc.
Mr. Tien also requested the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan district to develop a plan and roadmap to arrange cadres and civil servants in an objective, careful, and humane manner, meeting the aspirations and wishes of cadres and civil servants in accordance with their capacity, strengths, and job positions.
