During 16 years of construction and development, Agricultural Bank Insurance Joint Stock Company - Thanh Hoa Branch (ABIC Thanh Hoa) has become a "shield", a trusted companion of farmers and businesses in Thanh Hoa province. ABIC Thanh Hoa not only provides essential insurance, protects customers, but also proves its human value through timely support, helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Through practical implementation, the credit security insurance product has affirmed itself as a solid economic "shield" for customers and the bank, containing ABIC's humanity for the community. By participating in this insurance product, customers are fully and maximally protected against unforeseen risks, gaining more confidence and using loans effectively. In addition, the bank always has incentive policies for customers, such as reducing a part of the loan interest rate so that customers have more funds to participate in security products. To attract customers to borrow capital to participate in the credit security product, ABIC Thanh Hoa has closely coordinated with Agribank branches in the province to promote propaganda and introduce credit security products to customers through village meetings, loan group meetings; assigning and assigning targets to each officer in charge according to the area to guide, monitor, and appraise cases of insurance benefit payment, maximally protecting the interests of customers borrowing capital from the bank who unfortunately encounter risks.
With a wide network of branches and bank transaction offices reaching all the way to the villages and hamlets, when a risk arises, ABIC Thanh Hoa almost immediately organizes a visit, carries out compensation as committed, helping customers reduce material difficulties and be comforted mentally.
In August 2022 and January 2024, Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh's family in Do Trang village, Dan Luc commune (Trieu Son) received preferential loans from Agribank Trieu Son twice to invest in economic development with the amounts of 75 million VND and 125 million VND, respectively. However, at the end of February 2024, Mr. Thinh unfortunately had a stroke and passed away. The economic burden fell on his wife. Fortunately, when borrowing money from the bank, his family was advised to buy an insurance package from ABIC Thanh Hoa with an insurance premium of more than 2.8 million VND for both loan contracts. Thanks to that, ABIC Thanh Hoa paid off the entire debt for Mr. Thinh's family. Not only that, as soon as Mr. Thinh had an accident, ABIC Thanh Hoa supported part of the funeral expenses, and at the same time encouraged, visited, and shared the pain of loss of the family.
Similarly, Mr. Nong Van Giap in En village, Tri Nang commune (Lang Chanh) borrowed 450 million VND from Agribank to develop the economy and was advised to buy an ABIC Thanh Hoa insurance package for the entire loan. In early 2024, Mr. Giap suffered from heart failure, acute kidney failure, and died. While the family was worried about how to deal with this large debt, Agribank Lang Chanh and ABIC Thanh Hoa staff quickly received the information and completed the procedures, and thanks to this insurance package, all of Mr. Giap's family's debt was paid 100%, helping his family avoid falling into debt. Mr. Giap's wife, emotionally shared: "Immediately after my family encountered an accident, Agribank and ABIC Thanh Hoa staff regularly visited, gave gifts, and encouraged the family during this difficult time. We can only say thank you to the bank staff who wholeheartedly advised us to use the Credit Security Insurance service, so that today those who left and those who stayed can feel secure about their bank debts and unfinished plans. We are also extremely grateful for the care, visits and encouragement of ABIC staff. This has helped our family overcome difficult times."
Recently, ABIC's Credit Security product was honored to receive the prestigious National Brand Award in 2024. This is a testament to ABIC's continuous efforts in developing reputable agricultural insurance products, accompanying and protecting the interests of farmers and businesses. Credit Security Insurance is currently a voluntary insurance type, encouraging borrowers to participate because of its practical, close and easy-to-understand benefits. Credit Security Insurance aims to share and reduce the financial burden for borrowers and their families if they are unfortunate enough to encounter risks. Accordingly, when participating in Credit Security Insurance, in case the borrower dies due to a serious illness or an unexpected accident causing permanent disability, ABIC Thanh Hoa will pay the debt to the bank on behalf of the borrower within the scope of the customer's insurance amount. In addition to the Credit Security product, ABIC Thanh Hoa currently also provides customers with non-life insurance services with products such as: Motor vehicle insurance; Marine insurance; Property - engineering insurance; Health insurance, liability insurance, account insurance... with the desire to "buy" back worries and give customers strong confidence, quickly overcome difficulties, stabilize life.
