“Slower, colder water, seafood will not grow, economic efficiency will decrease. Therefore, the support policies at this time are very timely. Right after receiving support from the bank for a loan of 500 million VND, I immediately bought fish to reproduce, at the same time reinforced the rafts, tried to recover, and start over,” Mr. Tuan shared.

At the bamboo raft building area at the corner of Giang wharf, bamboo trees used for building oyster rafts are piled up in large piles. The owner of the raft building facility said that each bamboo oyster raft costs about 6-10 million, depending on the type. Once the rafts are completed, people hire fishing boats to pull them out to the river mouth to release oysters.
