On the evening of April 17 (March 9 of the lunar calendar), at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Special National Relic Site, Ninh Binh province, the celebration of the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924-2024) and the opening of the Hoa Lu Festival 2024 took place.

According to historical tradition: Dinh Bo Linh was born in the year of Giap Than (924) in Dai Huu village, Dai Hoang district, now Gia Phuong commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. His father was Chau Hoan Governor Dinh Cong Tru, from Dai Huu village; his mother was Dam Thi.
