The Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has just decided to award the 2024 Golden Globe Science and Technology Award to 10 outstanding young talents.

These are individuals with patents, useful solutions, high quality, and have won many domestic and international awards.

Among these 10 young talents, there are 3 researchers in the field of technology. They are Dr. Ngo Khac Hoang (born in 1992), Assistant Professor, Linköping University, Sweden; Dr. Nguyen Van Son (born in 1993), Lecturer, Faculty of Information Technology, University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Dr. Le Kim Hung (born in 1990), Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications, University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

Dr. Ngo Khac Hoang is the author of the research project "Unsourced Multiple Access With Random User Activity" in the field of telecommunications. The goal of the research is to optimize the energy efficiency of extremely large multiple access systems.

Dr. Nguyen Van Son is the author of the research project “CodeJIT” which allows early detection of security vulnerabilities in the software development process with high accuracy (90%), nearly twice as high as other methods. This solution can increase the security of software right from the development stage.

Dr. Le Kim Hung is the author of the work “Research on adaptive sampling algorithms for devices in large-scale Internet of Things”. The goal of the work is to solve the challenge of energy saving in large-scale IoT systems.

The Golden Globe is an annual award to promote learning, research, application of science and technology, build a team of talented people, and serve the country's development.

Each winning individual was awarded the “Creative Youth” badge, the Golden Globe trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of 20 million VND.
