(PLVN) - On February 6, Tan Dai Duong International Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) and China Testing Group - Guangxi Company Limited, Dongxing Branch (China) signed the acceptance of the handover of the office building and laboratory equipment for Agricultural Products and Food (CCIC) at Bac Luan II border gate.
The laboratory is located at Bac Luan II Inspection Site, Tan Dai Duong International Import-Export Joint Stock Company, the area adjacent to Mong Cai International Border Gate - Bac Luan II Bridge Area. The laboratory has a total area of 430m2, with an area of 350m2 on the first floor and 80m2 on the second floor. It is designed and equipped with modern equipment according to international standards ISO 17025 with a total investment of 30 billion VND.
The laboratory has a modern, synchronous, environmentally friendly, large-scale equipment system capable of accurately analyzing many indicators of food safety and product quality, such as: residues of plant protection chemicals, antibiotics, toxins, bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and yellowing substances in food...

This will help support management agencies, organizations and businesses in proactively monitoring the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products to ensure safety before exporting to the Chinese market.
When operating, the laboratory will provide services such as: testing and inspection of food, agricultural, forestry and aquatic products; origin tracing services and product quality consulting services for customers in need; Dissemination of the legal policies and regulations on border gate supervision of the People's Republic of China related to the quality of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products and other items exported to China.
The cooperation in building a laboratory between Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company and China Testing Group - Guangxi Company Limited, Dong Hung Branch is of great significance in the current export of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products to China.
Previously, in order to ensure that Vietnamese goods that have been tested and meet standards for export to the Chinese market are cleared smoothly, avoiding unnecessary losses such as goods being turned back, goods being destroyed... due to not meeting standards, from August 2024, Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company (Mong Cai - Vietnam) and China Testing Group - Guangxi Company Limited, Dongxing Branch (China) have cooperated to invest in building a laboratory to test the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the area of the project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure for services and trade of the Bac Luan II Inter-sectoral Control Station with a system of testing houses, modern machinery and equipment, ensuring the testing and examination of Vietnamese agricultural, forestry and fishery products exported to the Chinese market.
