The Ministry of Education and Training has transferred the suspected leak of Math exam questions to the Ministry of Public Security.

On the afternoon of June 28, in response to the suspicion of leaked math exam questions, the National Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam grasped the information and transferred it to the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security to verify, clarify, handle according to regulations and affirm that this information does not affect the exam.

The National Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam provides quick information about the Math exam: There are 63 Examination Councils nationwide, including 2,272 examination sites and 43,032 examination rooms with 1,007,403 candidates registered to take the exam. Number of candidates attending the exam: 1,003,699, accounting for 99.63%. The number of candidates violating the exam regulations is 2. Thus, after finishing the two exams, the whole country had 13 candidates violating the exam regulations.

As of 5 p.m. on June 28, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has not recorded any information about solving questions or instructions on solving questions from outside the exam room. The MOET requests that the Examination Councils continue to strengthen measures to prevent high-tech devices to minimize the possibility of cheating in the exam room and strictly manage exam questions according to regulations.

Regarding the photo of the Literature exam appearing online at around 8:00 a.m. on June 28, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training has grasped the information and transferred it to the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security for verification. If any violation is detected, it will be strictly handled according to regulations. The above information does not affect the exam because the interaction is only possible for one candidate.
