Los Angeles police have opened an arson investigation into the Kenneth fire. "What we know right now is that the incident occurred, it started here, and about 20 to 30 minutes later, a suspect was apprehended by citizens in Woodland Hills," Dinsel said, adding that the Kenneth fire was intentionally set. The police also said the area where the fire occurred is considered a crime scene.
The suspect’s identity has not been released. A Los Angeles official said the suspect started a fire in the Woodland Hills area at 4:30 p.m. on January 9. Police arrived at the scene and took the suspect away.
