It is known that the rice donation activity took place at An Quang Pagoda (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City). Artists and everyone did not mind the hot weather, giving 10 tons of rice to the people here, sharing the burden in life, spreading love.
" To celebrate the 10th anniversary of her mother's death, Viet Huong did not want to organize too big a event but instead carried out charity activities with the hope of helping more people and families in difficult circumstances who need support from the community. Besides, this was also Viet Huong's mother's wish when she was alive, which was to help as many people as possible," the female artist shared.
Since childhood, Viet Huong has been guided by her mother to do charity work and help people, so this thought has always been engraved in her mind. The female artist and her family have been doing charity work all year round for many years. Whenever there is a special memory of the family, the artist always prioritizes charity work.
She and her family regularly donate rice and meals to homeless people in Ho Chi Minh City. For people in provinces across the country, Viet Huong also has charity trips to donate food, warm clothes, water filters, organize Mid-Autumn Festival for children, give Tet gifts to poor people... depending on each suitable time. Notably, Viet Huong's family members, her husband Hoai Phuong and daughter Elyza, always support this meaningful journey of Viet Huong, not afraid of hardships to accompany her.
Even though she is busy with both artistic and business activities and has a tight schedule, Viet Huong still takes time to do charity work. According to Viet Huong's concept: "what is given is what remains forever". To the best of her ability, she wants to share the difficulties and hardships with those who need help. Happy smiles, sparkling eyes, tight hugs... are the priceless happiness that Viet Huong and her family receive on charity trips. The female artist hopes that her contributions, though small, will somehow bring warmth, so that people can feel humanity and love in life.
