The initiator of this music night is folk artist Duong Bao Quang. Coming from a rural area of Thanh Hoa, he understands the hardships of farmers who work hard all year round. Their only assets are a simple house, a buffalo, a flock of chickens, etc. Therefore, when the storm and flood swept through, the farmers in the highlands lost everything.

Sympathizing with that loss, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as well as uniting with people from all over the country, folk artist Duong Bao Quang discussed with singer Anh Tho to perform this charity music night.
Singer Anh Tho immediately accepted the invitation and was very excited and enthusiastic. She shared: "Tho has supported the flood victims with 20 million VND but still wants to use her small efforts to continue supporting them. The music night "My Homeland" is not only about sharing, but it also has practical meaning in calling on everyone to donate material to support the flood victims."
In addition to Anh Tho, the music night also received the participation of singer Siu Black, Ho Quang 8, Sao Mai champion Luong Nguyet Anh, Bolero Idol champion Trung Quang, Sao Mai runner-up Le Viet Anh, singer - MC Viet Tu, Thanh Nam, Hung Min, Hoang Thuy and MC Thuy Duong as the program's host.

At the show, while Anh Tho and Luong Nguyet Anh were moved by songs about the countryside with sweet folk melodies, Ho Quang 8, Trung Quang, and Le Viet Anh were immersed in lyrical music.
Siu Black stirred up the show with a fiery performance. Singer Viet Tu brought vibrant, cheerful melodies as a wish for people to quickly overcome difficulties and losses to rebuild their lives.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter before the concert, singer Viet Tu said: "We sang many songs that are loved by the audience, to contribute a little effort and send a small amount of money to the people in the northern provinces who are suffering because of the recent storm No. 3."

The concert raised 170 million VND and the Organizing Committee immediately transferred it to the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee during the concert. Folk artist Duong Bao Quang confided: "The concert was a success, the amount of money raised was not too much, but it was the sentiment of the artists and the audience who wanted to share with the people in the flooded areas."
On September 21, folk artist Duong Bao Quang and his close friend Kim Anh brought 200 million VND in cash and gifts (worth more than 300 million VND) to directly give to families affected by storms and floods in Lao Cai and Yen Bai.
"When I got there, I saw how much the people had lost, which I couldn't fully understand when I saw it on the news. It was heartbreaking! That's why my friends and I wanted to go there to give it to the people. Even though the money and gifts weren't large, it was the sentiment that I and everyone else wanted to share with the people. We hope that the people will quickly rebuild their lives to stabilize soon," folk artist Duong Bao Quang added.
