These artists gathered together to form a group called the Southern Art Troupe".
The film “Journey of the Southern Opera Troupe” was written by Kim Ha (scriptwriter), Meritorious Artist Nguyen Hoang (director), Writer Tram Huong (commentary), directed by Thanh Hap, Meritorious Artist Le Thien (documentary and art consultant).

The next generation has artists and directors such as Thanh Hap, Ngo Thi Hong, Hoang Khanh, Ca Le Hong, Phi Dieu... who have gloriously continued the path that their teachers have guided, so that each play and role leaves a beautiful impression in the hearts of the audience.
Director Thanh Hap said that around 1955, due to the military's service requirements, the troupe was split into the Southern Army Art Troupe and the Southern People's Art Troupe. "Our journey as revolutionary artists was arduous but meaningful. There were performances where enemy planes were circling in the distance, everyone went down to the shelter, and when they withdrew, we continued performing" - director Thanh Hap confided.
Mr. Phan Quoc Kiet, Director of Tran Huu Trang Theater, said that after establishing the traditional room, many groups have come to visit and learn, especially young people.
"The film about the leading bird of Southern Vietnamese reformed opera in the North is a new mark of the history of Southern Vietnamese reformed opera. When the film is completed, we will show it to serve the needs of visitors to learn about the history of reformed opera.
"The Southern Cai Luong Troupe is a gathering place for many talented and enthusiastic composers, directors, painters, and actors. Names like Tam Danh, Ba Du, Thanh Huong, Ba Huynh... are the guiding principles for today's young generation to follow, doing a good job of training, performing, and orienting the public's aesthetics through new works," Mr. Phan Quoc Kiet shared.
