The "Fragrance of Hanoi" cultural week at Noi Bai International Airport from November 24 to November 30 is creating unique cultural highlights of a miniature Hanoi.

"The event aims to honor intangible cultural values, arouse national pride in the nation's eternal values. This is also the point that creates unique and distinct marks among airports in the region and the world. Those unique identities are present at Noi Bai airport during the "Fragrance of Hanoi" week" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Director of Noi Bai International Airport, said at the opening ceremony on November 24.
Check-in points during the cultural week are arranged at 5 locations of the two passenger terminals T1 and T2. Of which, at the international terminal T2 there are 4 points: "Village Gate" with brick walls, three-door gate, bamboo rows; exhibition of paintings about Hanoi; miniature landscape "O Quan Chuong" and performance stage "Ancient house - beauty of Vietnamese culture".

This is also the place where artisans from traditional craft villages will perform and join passengers in experiencing making to he figurines (Phu Xuyen), embroidering paintings (Quat Dong), making conical hats (Chuong village), making pottery (Bat Trang) interspersed with folk art performances such as cheo singing, xam singing...
Passengers waiting for their flight can enjoy the show from 9am to 10pm daily.
At the domestic terminal T1, a check-in scene is arranged simulating the famous poetic street corner of Hanoi - Phan Dinh Phung street with a bicycle full of flowers, where guests can sip hot tea or enjoy some Hanoi specialties such as dried apricots, green rice flakes from Vong village...
As part of a series of activities to improve the quality of passenger service at Noi Bai airport, the cultural week "Fragrance of Hanoi" was held for the first time at the capital's aviation gateway, and is also the opening event for a series of annual activities to honor the traditional cultural values of the nation.
