On the evening of January 17, the Hue Phu Xuan music band had a 90-minute performance and interaction with the audience on the main stage of the 2025 Vietnamese Tet Festival , taking place at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
Audience enjoys Hue singing
Artist Hoang Duc Tam, artist Thu Thuy and the Hue singing band Phu Xuan brought a series of Hue singing performances to serve tourists in the spring. Many audiences stayed to watch the whole program, including many young people.
Not only performing, the band also had an interactive part to guide the audience in singing Hue songs. Artist Hoang Duc Tam enthusiastically practiced each sentence for the audience to sing along to the songs Ly Tinh Tang and Ho Hui .
In just a short time, many audiences grasped how to sing, how to sing with vibrato, and boldly performed on stage, receiving cheers from the audience.
Artist Hoang Duc Tam shared with Tuoi Tre Online : "Hue music is not easy to play, it requires the artist to truly love the profession and be dedicated. Hue singing has its own characteristics, without a Hue accent it is very difficult to sing. Hue music in Hue singing has its own rhythm, rhythm, breath, and voice."
"Being able to perform and interact closely with the audience is a good thing, creating conditions for people to have more emotions and love traditional music more.
Maybe those who listen to Hue songs for the first time will find it strange, but the more you listen, the more you will understand" - Hoang Duc Tam expressed his feelings.
