* From September 7-9, in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, as part of a visit and working trip with Chinese businesses and investors, the Nghe An Provincial Delegation organized a seminar to promote investment in the province.
Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the delegation - chaired the seminar. Businesses from Zhejiang Province participated in the seminar.
Speaking at the seminar, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province - said that in the context of the complex developments in the global economy , Nghe An remains an attractive destination for foreign investors with 129 investment projects from 14 countries/territories with a total registered investment capital of nearly 3.7 billion USD. Among them, Hong Kong, China ranks first in the number of projects and investment capital in Nghe An province with 38 projects and a total registered investment capital of nearly 2 billion USD.
* Nghe An province is establishing new budget allocations for the operation of socio- political organizations at the commune level, and for community mobilization teams in hamlets, wards, and villages.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee proposed a fixed budget for the operation of the Fatherland Front at the commune level; and the following political and social organizations at the commune level: the Veterans Association, the Women's Association, the Farmers Association, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
The provincial People's Committee has also stipulated in detail the fixed budget for the operation of the People's Mobilization Teams in hamlets and villages.
*On September 8th, the Nghe An Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee issued document No. 2834/BCĐ-SYT regarding strengthening food safety during the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival. The Nghe An Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee requested that departments, agencies, and organizations at the provincial level; and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and Vinh City direct their functional departments and relevant agencies and units to continue effectively implementing Directive No. 17-CT/TW dated October 21, 2022, of the Party Central Committee; and Directive No. 17/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on continuing to strengthen state management responsibility for food safety in the new situation. Plan No. 167-KH/TU dated March 14, 2023, of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on implementing Directive No. 17-CT TW dated October 21, 2022, of the Party Central Committee on strengthening food security and safety in the new situation.
*Nghe An province will organize many activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. These activities include: propaganda, education, emulation, and awards; military and national defense activities; cultural, literary, artistic, and sports activities, and exhibitions; seminars, meetings, and exchanges; policy, mass mobilization, and gratitude activities; and defense diplomacy activities.
* Following the Thanh Tam Traditional Medicine Hospital project and the Viet Nhat High-Quality Vocational Training Center project, the recent proposal to reconsider the eligibility of the socialized investment incentive policy for the multi-functional film center project, invested by 12/9 Film Joint Stock Company, has been put forward.
