* On the morning of May 3rd, the Prime Minister 's Task Force on Administrative Procedure Reform held its 4th thematic conference on solutions for transitioning to a single account type, VNeID, for online public services. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Head of the Prime Minister's Task Force on Administrative Procedure Reform, chaired the conference.
Speaking at the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Le Hong Vinh, proposed: In order to promptly record the difficulties faced by units and localities in the implementation process, and to receive feedback from the people and the business community during the initial implementation phase, he requested the Ministry of Public Security to study the establishment of a specialized channel to "receive, answer, and resolve difficulties." This would help the management agency continuously improve and optimize the system, ensuring the set goals and progress.

* Speaking with Nghe An Newspaper, Mr. Tran Xuan Ha - Head of the Education and Training Department of Thanh Chuong district, said: This morning, May 3rd, the last 5 students from the Thanh Nam branch school returned to the main campus of Ngoc Son Primary School to attend classes as usual.

At approximately 2:00 AM on May 3rd, the fishing vessel NA 4611 TS, while fishing for squid about 5 nautical miles from shore, suddenly encountered a whirlwind, causing it to capsize and sink. On board were Captain Hoang Duc Dong, born in 1990 (the owner of the vessel), and two crew members, Hoang Duc Thi, born in 1989, and Truong Van Hung, born in 1985, both residing in Quynh Phuong Ward, Hoang Mai Town.
Hoang Duc Thi swam out and was rescued by a small boat, while Hoang Duc Dong and Truong Van Hung went missing.
The Nghe An Border Guard Command has directed the Quynh Phuong and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Posts and other coastal units to deploy forces and resources to coordinate with local authorities and other forces to urgently search for the two missing crew members. They have also notified vessels operating near the area where the fishing vessel was in distress to assist in the search.
* More than half of a household's pigs, which were about to be sold, were electrocuted to death in Vo Liet commune (Thanh Chuong district), causing tens of millions of dong in losses.
At around 7 PM on May 2nd, the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Hue in Ha Luong village, Vo Liet commune, discovered their pigs lying scattered in the pen, many writhing in agony, suspected to have been electrocuted. The family immediately went to switch off the circuit breaker.
* On the morning of May 3rd, the Cua Lo beach section passing through Thu Thuy ward was covered with blood cockles washed ashore by the waves. Hundreds of locals collected the cockles, and after a few hours, each person had collected a whole sack of blood cockles, earning millions of dong.
