In order to carry out the assigned tasks, in the past time, the Department of Construction has made plans and solutions to strive to complete the assigned social housing construction targets in 2025 and the following years. At the same time, it has coordinated with the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board and the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to organize a review and survey of social housing needs in the province. Initial results show that 18/18 enterprises that sent survey results have a need for social housing for industrial park workers.

At the Hung Loc HOMES social housing project, invested by Nghe An Petroleum Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, the construction of building No. 1, 5 floors high, including 60 apartments with areas ranging from 34m2 - 69m2 is currently underway. It is expected that by the first quarter of 2026, building No. 1 will be completed. The company is also completing procedures to start construction of building No. 2 in the third quarter of 2025 and complete it in the third quarter of 2026.

One of the important "boosts" of the social housing development support program is the 120,000 billion VND credit package for preferential loans to develop social housing and workers' housing.
In Nghe An, the Provincial People's Committee has publicly announced the list of social housing projects in need of loans (120,000 billion VND credit program) on the Electronic Information Portal for 3 projects: Social housing project for workers and laborers working in industrial parks in the Southeast Economic Zone; Project to renovate Area A of Quang Trung apartment building, Vinh city and Project to renovate Area C of Quang Trung apartment building, Vinh city) so that banks have a basis to apply for preferential loans.

According to the plan, by 2025, Nghe An province needs to complete 1,420 social housing apartments. This is also an important driving force for the province to effectively implement the Government's Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030".
In the coming time, the province and related sectors will actively participate in specific tasks such as: Promoting the introduction of land funds planned for investment in social housing construction for businesses to study and propose investment; Organizing reviews to remove difficulties and legal problems for projects.
