Nghe An welcomes about 315 thousand tourists on Lunar New Year 2024

During the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, the weather is quite nice, with many warm and sunny days, favorable for spring outings, sightseeing, and tourism. Therefore, many tourist areas and spots in Nghe An have attracted a large number of visitors to visit and worship during the Tet holiday.

According to the Department of Tourism, during the 7-day Tet holiday of 2024 (from December 29, Quy Mao year to January 5, Giap Thin year, i.e. February 8-14, 2024), the whole province welcomed and served about 315 thousand visitors and tourists. Total revenue from tourists reached about 400 billion VND.

Tourist attractions with a large number of visitors and worshipers include: Kim Lien Special National Relic Site (nearly 40,000 visits), Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (nearly 33,000 visits), followed by Con Temple (Hoang Mai town), Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan), Emperor Quang Trung Temple (Vinh city), Truong Bon National Relic Site (Do Luong)...

During the Tet holiday, the Department of Tourism has directed the strengthening of fire prevention and fighting, ensuring security, order, environmental sanitation and safety for tourists. Tourist areas, spots and accommodation establishments have complied with regulations, organized well the activities to celebrate the Party and Spring, and ensured security, order, safety of people and property for tourists./.
