On the afternoon of March 18, at Khanh Thuong Primary School, the Department of Education and Training of Yen Mo district coordinated with the District Youth Union to organize the Happy and Healthy Children's Festival - Stepping up to the Union; awarding the scholarship "Lighting up the dreams of children in Yen Mo district" for the 2023-2024 school year.
The festival featured many exciting activities with performances, traditional performances, and talks. In particular, students had the opportunity to exchange and learn about the Dien Bien Phu victory, the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and the heroes of the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
The theme of the 2023-2024 school year was determined by the Youth Union from the district to the grassroots level: "Yen Mo children study well - practice diligently" associated with many important historical events of the nation, the country, and Yen Mo district; emulation activities to achieve achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu... attracting a large number of team members, teenagers, and children in the district to participate with many good ways, rich and exciting forms, contributing to forming awareness and good working habits for each child.
At the same time, the District Youth Union launched 100% of the Youth Union and children's classes to carry out training and competition activities; research, design, and organize playgrounds and activities for children, focusing on implementing Team activities with the theme of "Refueling the Dien Bien tradition - Yen Mo children are ready". Launched 100% of the Youth Union to actively carry out the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers", equipped with maps of Vietnam in classrooms and Team activity spaces...
On this occasion, the Yen Mo District Youth Union took from the "Lighting up dreams" fund to give 35 gifts to children in difficult circumstances who are striving to excel in their studies.
