The purpose of the festival is to honor the unique local products, the ingenuity of Vinh Long women in culinary arts, and to attract tourists, serving the socio-economic development of Vinh Long.

Binh Minh town, Vinh Long province is the only locality in the Southwest region that commercially grows pomelo trees.

At this festival, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy hundreds of dishes made from pomelos with 20 culinary teams from Vinh Long province.
