Coming to the program, students and teachers were introduced to the digital library by the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, instructions on using free learning resources; introduced to the method of integrating and using learning resources and the app "Reading for fun - learning for fun", and illustrated lessons on integrating learning resources. On that basis, it helps teachers and students exploit learning resources, e-books, audiobooks and high-quality educational products, serving teaching and learning; contributing to developing a reading culture for students.
The program also included book storytelling activities by teachers and students of O Lam “A” Primary School; a contest called “Learning about digital libraries”; quizzes with prizes; a corner for reading books; a corner for reading and writing about books; a corner for making bookmarks; a corner for drawing pictures, along with Khmer singing and dancing performances by students.
The Book Festival not only creates opportunities for students of Khmer ethnic minorities in general and O Lam commune in particular to access reading culture on digital platforms; find and share many good books, new books, and better understand the value of books in life. At the same time, it arouses children's love of reading, helps them access a variety of book genres suitable for their age; creates a useful playground for students, teachers and parents of Khmer ethnic minorities; shares and spreads reading culture in the community.
