The "Spring Colors Across the Country" Festival in 2025 will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi) from February 14 to 16 (ie January 17, 18, 19, At Ty year).

According to the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, the program is organized to honor the traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to strengthening the great national unity of the community of 54 ethnic groups, bringing the traditional Tet atmosphere to serve tourists in the first days of Spring at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.

The activity was coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with a number of central and local departments and branches, with the participation of about 200 people from 28 ethnic communities in 14 localities such as: Nung, Tay (Thai Nguyen); Dao (Hanoi); Mong (Ha Giang); Muong (Hoa Binh); Lao, Thai, Kho Mu (Son La); Thai (Thanh Hoa); Ta Oi, Co Tu (Hue); Ba Na, Gia Rai (Gia Lai); Xo Dang (Kon Tum); Cham, Brahman, Raglai (Ninh Thuan); E De (Dak Lak), Khmer (Soc Trang) ...

Within the framework of the activities of "Spring Festival in all regions of the country", many attractive cultural and artistic activities will take place. Accordingly, on February 15, at the festival grounds of ethnic village III, there will be an art program with songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, about the Spring of ethnic groups with joy, celebrating the country entering a new era, the era of national growth...

In addition, there are activities to report achievements of ethnic minorities, along with activities to wish ethnic minorities a Happy New Year by Party and State leaders, giving gifts to prestigious people among ethnic minorities (scholars, intellectuals, village elders, village chiefs, artisans, etc. Representatives of Party and State leaders beat the gong to open the Spring festival, participate in rituals and festivals of ethnic minorities and plant souvenir trees in Muong ethnic villages....

Besides the New Year greetings and gift giving program, there are activities recreating traditional rituals and festivals, and performing unique heritages of ethnic minorities at the "Common House".

Specifically, on February 15, there will be activities to reenact important rituals such as: The program to reenact the New Year tower opening ceremony of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan province, at the Cham tower complex, Ethnic Village Area III. This is an important ritual in the beliefs of the Cham people to commemorate their grandparents and ancestors, pray for favorable weather, bountiful crops and pray for the health and peace of all people...

The activity reenacts the New Rice Harvesting Ceremony of the Raglai ethnic group in Ninh Thuan province, taking place at the Raglai ethnic village, Ethnic Village Area III. This is one of the unique traditional festivals, taking place at the time of the new rice harvest, when the crops are bountiful. This festival aims to thank the gods and ancestors for blessing the bountiful harvest, and at the same time pray for the following crops to continue to be good.

The activity of reenacting the Khai Ha Festival and introducing the Bamboo Calendar performance - a national intangible cultural heritage of the Muong ethnic group in Hoa Binh province, took place at the Muong ethnic village, Ethnic Village Area I. The Khai Ha Festival is the most typical festival of the Muong ethnic group, with the meaning of respecting the gods, remembering those who have contributed to opening up the land, establishing the Muong and praying for favorable development of all things, bountiful crops, a prosperous life, happiness and good things to come to every home.

On February 16, at the Thai Ethnic Village, Ethnic Villages Area I, a program was held to introduce excerpts of the singing and dancing ritual under the cotton tree (Kin gong booc may) of the Thai ethnic group in Thanh Hoa province. This is a typical custom during the Lunar New Year, which takes place at the beginning of the new year, with the purpose of thanking the gods, holding a festival to celebrate after a year of hard work, praying for the villagers to be safe, healthy, and have good crops. This is an important activity during the Thai people's Tet holiday, reflecting their deep belief in the spiritual world.

Within the framework of the "Spring Festival in all regions of the country", the "Spring Festival" program with many attractive activities will take place at the Ethnic Village Area, including: The activity of responding to the Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho by the ethnic people who are active every day in the Village with the theme "each person plants a tree" in the space of the ethnic villages; introducing cuisine and Tet dishes of the ethnic communities living and operating in the Village; introducing folk songs, folk dances, folk music praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the homeland, praising Spring... in the ethnic villages; folk games of the ethnic people such as bamboo dancing, stilt walking, swinging...; introducing the pink color of buckwheat flowers, the white color of apricot flowers, plum flowers, peach blossoms of the Northwest...
