The Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province will be held from August 1-2 at the Provincial Conference Center. The Congress will be attended by 200 delegates, comprising outstanding youth union officials and members who exemplify intellect, enthusiasm, ambition, and faith – representing nearly 200,000 youth union members and young people throughout the province.

The Youth Union of Phung Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district, inaugurated the "Model Rural Tree Row" project.
This is a significant political event, a celebration of unity among all strata of youth, a celebration of spirit, youthful energy, and intellect contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, and building a prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland. The results of the Congress will be a fundamental prerequisite, creating a strong transformation in improving the quality of the Youth Union's activities, expanding the front of unity and gathering of youth, and encouraging and supporting young people in establishing themselves and their careers.
Comrade Bui Duc Giang - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Federation, 5th term, affirmed: “The 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress will conclude the past 5 years with the achievements made; at the same time, it will open a new chapter with faith, determination, and aspirations to conquer new successes. The Congress has the task of evaluating the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement during the 2019-2024 term and building directions, goals, and solutions for the work of the Youth Union in the 2024-2029 term... Currently, the 5th term Committee of the Youth Union has completed the preparation work regarding the content and conditions for organizing the 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress, 2024-2029 term. The content of the political report, the personnel plan, the program for organizing the Congress, and the propaganda work before, during, and after the Congress have also been completed.”
The political report of the Committee of the 5th Congress summarized the key achievements of the term with outstanding features, typical projects and action movements; at the same time, it boldly acknowledged limitations and shortcomings and drew important lessons learned, with illustrative data and comparisons with the targets set in the Resolution of the 5th Congress.
The direction of the provincial youth union's work and movement for the VI term (2024-2029), with contents and solutions revolving around the "I Love My Homeland" movement, the "Accompanying Youth" program, and "Building a Strong Vietnam Youth Union," is built upon the orientations of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the practical situation of socio -economic conditions, and the needs of youth and society in the province.
As a major political activity for the youth of the province, the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels for the 2024-2029 term was meticulously prepared by the Union's branches throughout the province. The congresses were successfully held, and the event received the attention of a large number of young people from all walks of life.
At the Lam Thao District Youth Union Congress, delegate Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy - President of the Son Vy Commune Youth Union - shared: "We hope that the Youth Union Congresses at all levels will inspire the enthusiasm, initiative, volunteerism, and dedication of the youth of Lam Thao district in particular and the youth of the Ancestral Land in general, contributing to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland."

A message from the youth to the Congress.
For months now, messages and opinions from young people of all backgrounds have been sent to the Youth Union at all levels, creating a vibrant atmosphere and demonstrating the youth's interest in the organization's political event.
Comrade Pham Hoang Tuan - Secretary of the Phu Ninh District Youth Union and Chairman of the Phu Ninh District Youth Union Federation, shared: “The Phu Ninh District Youth Union Federation delegation is ready to attend the 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress. We have prepared the content for the discussions at the Congress and the forums within the framework of the Congress. Currently, agricultural products, OCOP products, and youth startup models have also been prepared to participate in the series of events in response to and to celebrate the success of the Congress. The Congress is an event to connect and build a strong, united, and developing youth community; affirm the role of youth in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland; spread positive values, and contribute to building a civilized and progressive society.”
The Provincial Youth Union Committee clearly recognized and acknowledged the importance of the Congress. From the moment it received the plan for organizing the Congress at all levels from the Central Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union promptly and proactively directed its affiliated branches to complete the plan for organizing the Congress at all levels in July.
A new feature of this Congress is the application of information technology to manage and provide congress documents for delegates; innovation in propaganda work and methods of approaching youth. Besides visual propaganda, the content, activities, and programs of the Congress are also disseminated through digital platforms, creating opportunities for many segments of young people to access them.
In Viet Tri city, along the main roads, a system of flags and banners with slogans focusing on the following themes: Youth of the Ancestral Land - Unity - Creativity - Aspiration - Development; Youth of the Ancestral Land - Solid Knowledge - Excellent Skills - Rich in Aspiration; Youth of the Ancestral Land of King Hung - Upholding the "Lac Hong" tradition, Aspiration for creative entrepreneurship, Volunteering to build a prosperous and happy homeland; Youth of the Ancestral Land - Patriotic, united, creative, and dedicated... demonstrate the will, determination, and aspirations of the youth of the Ancestral Land.
In districts and towns, the District Youth Union Committees also directed the hanging of banners at their offices and on main roads before, during, and after the Congress to widely publicize the meaning and importance of the Congress among all levels of the Union, its members, and young people, raising awareness of the responsibility of cadres, members, and young people in contributing to building the Union organization as well as activities leading up to the Youth Festival of the Ancestral Land.
