The 16th Red Sunday Blood Donation Festival

To encourage people to participate in blood donation activities to save lives, on June 21, Asia Materials Group (AIG) cooperated with Tien Phong newspaper and Military Hospital 175 to organize the "Red Sunday" Humanitarian Blood Donation Festival.

The 16th "Red Sunday" blood donation festival took place on June 21.

This year's blood donation festival took place at the AIG Building (Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, District 7) with the participation of many leaders, officers and employees of AIG Group, representatives of Tien Phong newspaper and medical staff from Military Hospital 175. Of which, nearly 120 AIG members registered to donate blood voluntarily, collecting nearly 200 units of blood.

AIG representative said that accompanying this event aims to affirm AIG Asia Ingredients Group's commitment to not only becoming one of the leading food ingredients enterprises in Vietnam but also to continuously strive for community responsibility through many volunteer activities and social development.

Among them, the "Red Sunday" humanitarian blood donation program is one of the annual activities that AIG is very interested in. Associated with the message "Help yourself, help others, help life", AIG Group always promotes health issues and social responsibility, and at the same time recognizes the important role of blood donation in helping people who are facing difficulties due to anemia.

AIG representative said that the “Red Sunday” program attracted the participation of many AIG officers and employees. Blood donation activities not only contribute to providing a safe and reliable blood source for the hospital, but also inspire people with love and compassion. By donating blood, each individual has made a small but meaningful contribution to saving lives and bringing new hope to those in need.

Starting in early 2009, from a blood donation point in Hanoi with 96 units of blood, by 2017, the "Red Sunday" Blood Donation Festival initiated by Tien Phong newspaper with the message "Your life and mine" has truly become a movement, a series of festivals held in 25 provinces and cities across the country and received nearly 32,000 units of blood.

"Red Sunday" 2023 took place in 45 provinces and cities with nearly 70 blood donation sites organized, receiving more than 50,000 units of blood.
