The Career Journey and Job Connection Festival 2024 (VNU Job Fair 2024) has many diverse and attractive activities with 4 seminars and 1 workshop, attracting 44 prestigious enterprises, bringing more than 7,000 job and internship opportunities to students.
VNU Job Fair 202404 is a space to connect students and employers, training units and employers in need, to coordinate training of high-quality human resources, and at the same time promote cooperation between businesses and scientists.
The festival helps students orient and prepare necessary career skills, enhance competitive advantages when participating in the labor market; catch up with employment trends and recruitment requirements of organizations and enterprises. This is also an opportunity for new graduates and students preparing to graduate to find and exchange necessary information about career opportunities, recruitment processes and conditions of organizations and enterprises.
At the festival, students have the opportunity to interact, demonstrate their abilities, gain practical experience in working environments and seek job opportunities in their majors; in addition, organizations and businesses also answer questions and provide guidance on practical issues.
At the festival, Deputy Director of VNPT Hanoi Nguyen Xuan Vinh highly appreciated the quality of human resources trained at Hanoi National University and said that currently, about 20% of the personnel holding managerial and engineering positions at VNPT Hanoi are former students of Hanoi National University. He hopes that VNPT Group and the school will continue to have many extensive cooperation activities, aiming to take advantage of each side's strengths to promote the development of science and technology, business management science, improve training quality and contribute to the development of the country.
Within the framework of the festival, leaders of Hanoi National University and sponsor representatives awarded scholarships to students from the “SHB Financial Support Package - Nurturing Talents”. Each scholarship is worth 30 million VND/student/school year for 10 top students in the 2024 entrance exam or students with especially difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies; 30 scholarships for students with difficult circumstances due to their families being affected and suffering damage from storm No. 3, each worth 10 million VND/student.
At the festival, Hanoi National University also held a ceremony to honor the titles of "5 Good Students", "5 Good Student Collective" for the 2023-2024 school year, and the title of "Outstanding Youth" in 2024.
