On the morning of May 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the survey plan for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School recruits 10 classes (350 students).
Admission objects: Students who have completed primary school program in Ho Chi Minh City and have a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of each subject of Vietnamese and math in grade 5.
Admission requirements: The age of students entering grade 6 is 11 years old (according to valid birth certificate); For students who are allowed to skip a grade in the previous grade or students entering the grade at an age higher than the prescribed age, the age for entering grade 6 will be reduced or increased based on the age of the year of graduation from the previous grade;
Ethnic minority students, disabled students, students in especially difficult circumstances, and students returning from abroad can enter school at an age 3 years older than the prescribed age.

Admission method: Admission is by survey method to test and evaluate students' abilities; the Department of Education and Training is responsible for creating questions, organizing supervision and grading the survey according to current examination regulations.
How to register for the survey, as follows: Parents fill in the registration link at the website: www.trandainghia.edu.vn
After filling in the registration link, the system will send the "Survey Registration Form" to the email address of the registered student's parents.
Parents download the application, print, sign, and attach a photo of the student (3x4 photo, wearing school uniform).
Implementation timeline: Implementation time: From June 7 to 11: Register to participate in the online survey
From 7:30 a.m. on June 24 to 4:30 p.m. on June 26: Receive survey participation cards at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (20 Ly Tu Trong, District 1), parents and students bring the survey registration form sent by the system.
July 4: Conducting a survey for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School
July 11: Expected to announce survey plan
From July 12 to 4:00 p.m. on July 15: Students submit their admission applications. After 4:00 p.m. on July 15, if students do not submit their admission applications, the school will remove their names from the admission list.

Based on the survey results, the ranking will be from high to low until the target is met.
Admission procedures: Successful students must submit a complete application including: Primary school transcript (original). Valid copy of birth certificate.
If after submitting all the admission documents, the school discovers any errors compared to the above regulations or does not meet the admission requirements, the student will be removed from the school's student list.
Students who fail to pass the school entrance exam will still be considered for admission to grade 6 according to the regulations of the District Admissions Steering Committee.
