In the first quarter, the provincial health sector faced many difficulties such as: investment projects to build new hospitals in districts were still slow; the procurement of materials and equipment was still prolonged, especially the procurement of information technology equipment for digital transformation; measles epidemic continued to spread in districts... However, the health sector has successfully completed the tasks according to the plan, achieving some outstanding results according to Project 7 on protecting, caring for, improving people's health and population work in Lao Cai province in the new situation, period 2020 - 2025: 24/45 targets reached over 100%, no target was completed below 50%.
In the second quarter, the health sector continued to coordinate to monitor and urge the progress of ongoing projects; continued to advise on public investment projects for the 2025-2030 period; directed to promote bidding activities for the procurement of medical equipment; strengthened disease prevention and control; effectively implemented health cooperation programs; rotated staff to improve medical examination and treatment capacity...
