Lang Son Education Sector focuses on implementing key tasks at the end of the 2024-2025 school year - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of April 3, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to deploy key tasks of education and training in the final stage of the 2024-2025 school year.

According to the report at the conference, from the beginning of 2025 until now , the whole industry has seriously and effectively implemented professional tasks. Important exams such as: national high school excellent student selection exam, provincial excellent student exam for grades 9 and 11 and high school graduation mock exam were organized safely and in accordance with regulations. Notably, the Lang Son student delegation participating in the national excellent student exam won 34 prizes, including 4 second prizes (an increase of 1 prize compared to last year) .

Along with that, the industry continues to promote digital transformation in teaching and education management. The online exam authentication model has been initially applied in the continuing education sector. The rate of schools meeting national standards has increased, with 10 newly recognized schools bringing the total number of national standard schools in the province to 312. Activities of life skills education, digital citizenship, STEM, school psychological counseling, etc. have been implemented synchronously.

Entering the final stage of the school year, the Department of Education and Training directed schools to focus on reviewing for students in grades 9 and 12; organizing well the entrance exam for grade 10 and the high school graduation exam in 2025. At the same time, effectively carry out the second semester examination, evaluate the quality of education at all levels, and summarize the 5 years of implementing the 2018 general education program.

Along with professional tasks, the department requires units to continue building a safe, friendly and happy school environment; effectively implementing solutions to prevent and combat school violence, injuries, drowning and ensure traffic safety for students.

At the conference, representatives of education departments, schools and continuing education centers discussed and shared experiences in organizing review sessions for final year students, implementing electronic transcripts, and digital transformation in teaching and learning management; and pointed out the main difficulties in terms of staff and teachers; investment in equipment and educational facilities. Delegates also recommended that the sector continue to support digital learning resources, enhance professional training for teachers, arrange facilities for exams, and pay attention to policies for boarding and semi-boarding students.
