On the morning of August 25, the Department of Education and Training of Yen Mo district held a conference to summarize the 2022-2023 school year and deploy tasks for the 2023-2024 school year.
In order to carry out the tasks of the 2022-2023 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Yen Mo district has proactively advised, directed and implemented the completion of the school year's tasks. In particular, it has focused on maintaining and improving the quality of education at all levels; implementing new general education programs and textbooks; ensuring teaching and learning conditions. The whole sector has focused on innovating methods and forms of organizing teaching and learning and testing and evaluating students, contributing to improving overall quality. In particular, the sector's emulation movements are associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning.
The scale of schools and classes at all levels continues to receive investment attention, meeting the requirements of teaching and learning better and better. Currently, the rate of solid classrooms in the whole sector is 100%; 52/52 schools meet national standards. The team of managers and teachers is focused on improving, basically sufficient in quantity, gradually improving in quality. The quality of child care and education for preschool level, the quality of comprehensive education for primary and secondary school levels is maintained stably; the quality of general secondary school level increases compared to the previous school year; the quality of excellent students and gifted students is basically stable. 99.87% of grade 5 students complete the primary school program; 99.5% of students graduate from secondary school, 100% of students graduate from secondary school supplementary; 89.3% of grade 9 students pass the entrance exam to grade 10 of high school.
The quality of key education has made positive changes. During the year, the district had 306 students winning prizes in provincial-level excellent student competitions and 25 students winning national prizes; 190 teachers achieved district-level excellent teacher status, 15/15 teachers participating in the provincial-level excellent teacher competition were recognized as provincial-level excellent teachers.
With the achievements in the 2022-2023 school year, the industry was evaluated and classified by the Department of Education and Training as an Excellent unit in completing its tasks, and was awarded the title of Advanced Labor Collective by the District People's Committee.
Promoting the achieved results, in the 2023-2024 school year, the Education and Training sector of Yen Mo district sets the goal of continuing to promote the emulation movement "Teaching well, learning well" with the spirit of "Solidarity, discipline, creativity, continuing to innovate in depth, improving the quality of education and training". Accordingly, the sector has set out 5 major targets and 6 key groups of solutions. Focusing on: improving the quality of teachers and educational managers; improving the quality of education, especially the quality of key education; promoting career orientation and student streaming after junior high school. Improving the quality of English teaching. Promoting the application of information technology in teaching, learning and educational management. Promoting autonomy and self-responsibility for kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, etc.
On this occasion, 3 collectives with outstanding achievements in the 2022-2023 school year were honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee, 9 collectives were awarded the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"; 8 collectives and 33 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee. Yen Mo District People's Committee also commended and rewarded many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
