The State Bank of Vietnam only sold 3,400 taels of gold in the auction on May 8.

Accordingly, there were 3 members winning the bid with a total volume of 34 lots, equivalent to 3,400 taels of gold. The winning bid price was 86.05 million VND/tael, which is also the floor price set by the State Bank.

Thus, this is the second successful gold bar auction after five times. Previously, in the gold bar auction on April 23, the winning gold volume was also 3,400 taels.

As reported by Quang Nam Newspaper , this morning, May 8, the State Bank auctioned off 16,800 taels of SJC gold bars to increase supply to the market. Thus, the State Bank has yet to successfully auction off 13,400 taels of gold in this 5th session.
