Provincial Social Policy Bank commends excellent workers for the period 2020 - 2025

BHG - On the morning of April 3, the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) held a conference to honor excellent and creative workers in the period of 2020 - 2025. Attending were comrade Duong Quyet Thang, member of the Government Party Committee, General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; leaders of departments, branches, and the Representative Board of the Provincial VBSP; entrusted organizations and unions; outstanding individuals and collectives in the period of 2020 - 2025.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the emulation and reward work at the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch achieved many positive results, contributing to the implementation of political tasks and promoting socio-economic development, ensuring social security in the area. In 5 years, the unit has launched 48 emulation and reward movements associated with major programs such as: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", "Joining hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor", "Good at banking, good at housework"... Thanks to that, banking activities have developed stably, with outstanding loans increasing along with improving credit quality. To date, the total capital has reached nearly VND 5,600 billion (an increase of more than VND 2,600 billion compared to 2020), with an average growth rate of 18.2%/year. As of March 26, 2025, the branch supported nearly 94,000 borrowers, with a loan turnover of more than VND 7,700 billion. Credit programs help many poor households and policy beneficiaries have the opportunity to develop production, create jobs, and promote the local economy.

General Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Duong Quyet Thang presented Certificates of Merit to members of the Board of Directors of the provincial Bank for Social Policies with outstanding achievements.

Speaking at the conference, General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Duong Quyet Thang acknowledged and praised the outstanding results that the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has achieved in the past 5 years, especially in policy credit work. Notably, the economic reform movements have been systematically implemented, creating motivation for all cadres and employees, spreading responsibility and creativity in work. He requested that the branch proactively advise local Party committees and authorities in leading and directing the effective implementation of Directive No. 39 of the Secretariat on improving the quality of social credit in the new period; continue to carry out economic reform well, focusing on setting an example for leaders. At the same time, doing a good job of communication, improving the effectiveness of the "Smart Mass Mobilization" model to help poor households and policy beneficiaries easily access preferential capital sources. The General Director hopes that by 2025, the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch will strive to be in the top 30 leading units in the economic reform movement of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank system.

At the conference, delegates focused on analyzing the results achieved in the process of implementing emulation movements. At the same time, they frankly acknowledged the limitations, suggested solutions, and drew lessons to make the emulation work of the unit increasingly effective. Also at the conference, the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies launched the emulation movement, signed the emulation agreement for the period 2025 - 2030 and approved the list of delegates to attend the Conference of Advanced Models of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 members of the Board of Directors of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies with outstanding achievements contributing to the performance of the Bank for Social Policies, period 2020 - 2025. The General Director of the Bank for Social Policies awarded Certificates of Merit to 22 individuals who are members of the Board of Directors of the District-level Bank for Social Policies, 2 collectives and 23 individuals of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch with outstanding achievements contributing to the performance of the Bank for Social Policies, period 2020 - 2025. The Director of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement, period 2020 - 2025.
