Tan Son District Social Policy Bank supports people affected by natural disasters

Implementing the direction of the Provincial Social Policy Bank, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Tan Son district has proactively coordinated with the People's Committees of communes and socio-political organizations to receive the trust and implement support policies for customers borrowing capital at the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of communes in Tan Son district affected by natural disasters according to regulations.

Immediately after reviewing customers affected by natural disasters, the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office temporarily stopped collecting interest for 131 customers who borrowed capital due to storm No. 3 from the time of impact until December 31, 2024, extended debt and provided additional loans to customers facing difficulties with the hope that affected people would quickly overcome the damage, restore production and business, and stabilize their lives soon. In addition, the Transaction Office visited and supported 4 customers who suffered damage to their houses in the communes of Thu Ngac, My Thuan, and Kim Thuong.

This is a humane policy to help households that are borrowing from banks reduce their financial burden and support people affected by storm No. 3 who need new loans to restore production.
