Hanoi Bank for Social Policies: 176 collectives and individuals were rewarded

According to Director of Hanoi City Social Policy Bank Pham Van Quyet, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation and reward work, excellent workers, and creative workers, the City Social Policy Bank has paid attention to and directed the implementation of policies, legal documents and guidelines of the industry on emulation and reward work.

Every year, representatives of the Party Committee, Trade Union, Youth Union... have coordinated to build and sign emulation agreements. At the end of each emulation period, the City Social Policy Bank organizes a timely preliminary and final review, selecting outstanding individuals and groups with outstanding achievements to reward and commend.

With efforts and creativity in implementing emulation movements for good workers and creative workers, the City Bank for Social Policies has achieved impressive results. Total capital as of March 31, 2025 reached VND 17,451 billion, an increase of VND 8,983 billion compared to the beginning of 2020; of which, capital entrusted to localities reached VND 10,609 billion, an increase of VND 7,648 billion compared to the beginning of 2020, accounting for 61% of total capital. Total outstanding debt of policy credit programs reached VND 17,412 billion, an increase of VND 8,998 billion compared to the beginning of 2020.

In the period of 2020-2025, the City Social Policy Bank has disbursed VND 30,188 billion to 601,562 customers who are poor households and policy beneficiaries, special beneficiaries of the city to borrow capital, contributing to maintaining and expanding jobs for 428,177 workers; supporting the construction and renovation of 304,544 clean water and environmental sanitation works, 656 houses for poor households, near-poor households and 632 houses for beneficiaries of social housing policies...

Notably, over the past 5 years, the City Social Policy Bank has proactively advised on the effective implementation of Directive No. 40-CT/TU and Conclusion No. 06-KL/TU of the Central Party Secretariat. The total capital entrusted to the locality reached VND 10,609 billion, an increase of VND 7,648 billion compared to 2019, accounting for 61% of the total capital.

In the period of 2025-2030, the City Bank for Social Policies will focus on mobilizing resources and effectively implementing policy credit programs for the poor and other policy beneficiaries, contributing to the goal of poverty reduction, job creation, new rural construction, limiting black credit, and ensuring social security in Hanoi.

At the conference, the City Bank for Social Policies launched an emulation movement, signed an emulation agreement for the 2025-2030 period; and approved the list of delegates attending the Conference of typical advanced models of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 members of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in Hanoi for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the performance in the period 2020-2025. The General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies awarded Certificates of Merit to 60 individuals who are members of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies at the district level; 5 groups and 82 individuals in the system of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in Hanoi for their contributions to the performance in the period 2020-2025. The Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in Hanoi rewarded 27 groups with outstanding achievements and exemplary achievements in the emulation movement in the period 2020-2025.
