Agribank Nam Nghe An received the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee

2023 is a difficult year for the world economy and the country, but closely following the directions of the Government, the State Bank and Agribank, Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch has implemented the assigned planning tasks from the beginning of the year, which is the 6th consecutive year that the branch has fully completed 6/6 targets assigned by the head office. Won the third prize in the whole system for implementing business tasks in 2023.

Although deposit interest rates have continuously decreased and decreased sharply compared to 2022, capital mobilization of the entire branch has still grown steadily. By June, capital mobilization of the entire branch had completed the annual plan and by December 31, 2023, the total mobilized capital reached 17,635 billion VND, an increase of 12.77% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 232% of the plan assigned by the head office.

The growing capital with reduced costs is the basis for lowering lending interest rates to meet the borrowing needs of people and businesses, ensuring liquidity and operational safety ratios according to regulations. The total outstanding debt of the system increased by 7.4%, however, Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch increased by 11.2%, focusing on production and business and priority areas, always promptly meeting customers' borrowing needs; lending to areas with high potential risks is strictly controlled, credit quality is guaranteed.

Continue to develop and diversify products and services, especially modern banking products and digital technology applications; improve customer care quality, increase service revenue to ensure exceeding the plan.

In 2023, Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch, in combination with support from Agribank, carried out social security work in the area with an amount of 21.6 billion VND.

Key targets for 2024:

Mobilized capital grows by 7% - 10%; Outstanding loans grow by 8% - 11% compared to December 31, 2023; The ratio of outstanding medium and long-term loans accounts for 47% of total outstanding loans; The maximum bad debt ratio is 0.8% of total outstanding loans; Service revenue grows by 5-8% compared to 2023; The difference between revenue and expenditure before salary in 2024 is not lower than in 2023, expected to increase by 5-8% compared to 2023.

Speaking at the conference, comrades Le Hong Vinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Thu - Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An Branch, assessed that 2023 had many difficulties, but Agribank, Nam Nghe An Branch, overcame challenges, achieved many impressive results, and continued to comprehensively complete assigned business targets. Credit quality was improved, capital sources and capital use were proactively balanced, credit was expanded, and capital was prioritized for rural agriculture.

In 2024, based on the forecast, Agribank Nam Nghe An needs to continue to maintain its leading role in the monetary market, credit for agriculture, rural areas, farmers, and improve business efficiency in the area; Strive to fully complete the main targets and tasks set by Agribank. Improve capital use efficiency, credit growth associated with customer orientation and target products, ensuring safety.

Promote retail activities on digital platforms, provide additional diversified e-banking services, continue to promote non-cash payments, serve and meet the increasing needs of customers. Strengthen inspection and comprehensive supervision of the activities of units, early warning of risks in payment activities. Continue to pay attention to treasury safety issues, prevent and promptly handle violations that cause risks in business activities.

The comrades hoped that Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch would continue to promote the achieved results, excellently complete business tasks, contribute to the development of the banking sector and socio-economy in the area, pay attention to creating resources to support the poor and social security; together with the province, well implement Resolution 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province.
