After many days of construction, on the evening of December 5, the LED lighting system decorating Notre Dame Cathedral (District 1) was completed, lighting up magically at night.
By Christmas 2024, the church will continue to use about 500,000 meters of LED lights to decorate the front, back and sides of the building. Between the two bell towers is a Bethlehem Christmas star with colorful lights.

Father Ignatius Ho Van Xuan, Head of the Cathedral Restoration Committee, said this is the second time Notre Dame Cathedral has been decorated for Christmas since its renovation in 2017. In 2023, the cathedral will be decorated with 80,000 meters of LED lights to light up the two bell towers.
Notre Dame Cathedral has long been a highlight of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, especially during Christmas, when it is always brightly lit, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
Notre Dame Cathedral was designed by architect J. Bourard. This is a unique architectural work with a 60.5m high basilica, of which the zinc tower and bell tower account for more than half, 26m and 11m high respectively.
