Since 2012, Chelsea Truck Company has rewritten the rules of the Land Cruiser Defender off-road style game to make the vehicle more eye-catching and interesting. By 2025, the design team behind Chelsea Truck Co., Kahn Design, had introduced a carefully developed widebody kit for the modern generation Land Cruiser Defender L663 , combining heritage lines with contemporary craftsmanship.

While other tuners would be complacent with their success, Kahn Design keeps tweaking. For the latest iteration, it has gone all out in terms of form and function. Last year, the Defender X with its new Wide Track package created a muscular, eye-catching look that customers love, while adding sharper, smoother lines and a powerful stance.

The entire body kit is made from high-grade ABS plastic, a durable material that manufacturers value for its strength and light weight. This change improves the finish, allowing for a more accessible price point without sacrificing the premium feel customers expect from Chelsea Truck Co.

One limitation that has been overcome from the previous generation is the compatibility of the front bumper vents.
