The North-South Expressway through Quang Binh runs along Vuc Tron Lake in Quang Trach district.

In Quang Binh, the project has a total length of nearly 125km, divided into 3 components: the Vung Ang-Bung section is 42.44km long, the Bung-Van Ninh section is 48.84km long and the Van Ninh-Cam Lo section is 33km long.

According to the XL01 package, Km568+200-Km600+700, which was undertaken by Vinanconex Joint Stock Corporation, has been completed at 83.10%; the road surface on the main route has reached 99.65%; works such as; culverts, underpasses, slope reinforcement, ditch improvement, curb reinforcement, traffic safety on the route are all ahead of schedule; 6/6 bridges are basically completed.

“Production plan by the end of 2024: 1,189.16 billion VND, reaching 92.84%, striving to exceed the contract schedule by 8 months,” said a representative of Vinanconex.

The representative of Project Management Board 6 (Ministry of Construction) added that the overall construction output of the Vung Ang-Bung section component project has so far reached 86.8%, ensuring completion according to the direction of the Prime Minister and the requirements of the Ministry of Construction.

The contractor always emphasizes ensuring technical standards and quality.

According to the representative of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, although there are still some difficulties and problems, the entire clean surface was handed over by the end of January 2025, so that the investor and contractor can speed up the progress, complete the main route by April 30 and open the expressway component projects passing through Quang Binh province by June 30.
