According to Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Andrey Belousov, Russia is the subject of systematic cyber attacks from Ukraine.

Speaking at a meeting of the UN General Assembly's Disarmament Committee No. 1, Mr. Belousov said: "We are systematically under cyber attack from Ukraine and some other Western countries."
Accordingly, he presented many evidences such as a public statement by the Commander of the US Cyber Command, General Paul Nakasone - who admitted that cyber attacks were being carried out against Russia. In addition, the attack also included the Ukrainian Information Technology Unit established with the support of the US.
Mr. Belousov also pointed out that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is trying to turn the information space into another arena of confrontation. The Russian diplomat said: “(NATO allies) have long been engaged in building offensive potential in the field of information and communications technology.”
Referring to NATO's aid to Ukraine, he affirmed that teams of cyber experts were sent there to prepare and coordinate hacker activities, carry out cyber attacks, targeting Russia's information technology infrastructure.
According to Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Moscow needs to protect its interests, including in the information technology sector. In addition, Mr. Belousov warned that Russia will “respond adequately” to any dangerous cyberattacks on its infrastructure.
