* The United States opened a new missile base on Poland's Baltic coast called Aegis Ashore on November 13, marking a major step in strengthening NATO's missile defense system in Eastern Europe. (Reuters)
* Russia will take measures to ensure equality in response to the US deployment of a missile defense system in Poland. Moscow believes that Washington's actions are part of an effort to contain Russia by moving US military infrastructure closer to its borders.

* The Kremlin issued a statement saying that Russia's special military operation in Ukraine is progressing strongly and continues at full speed. The Russian army treats civilians with great caution, and attacks are only aimed at military targets.

* Indonesia-US stated that the arbitration court's ruling made under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) is an important treaty that strengthens maritime security and governance in disputed waters.
During a meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and US President Joe Biden in Washington on November 12, the two leaders emphasized their steadfast support for maintaining freedom of navigation and overflight, as well as respect for the sovereign rights and jurisdiction of coastal states over their exclusive economic zones under international law of the sea, as reflected in UNCLOS.

* The South Korean Navy has successfully launched a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from a warship for the first time , marking a step forward in UAV development technology.
The Mojave UAV prototype, developed by the US company General Atomics Aeronautical System Inc, is capable of flying up to 3,000 km, a distance of nearly 3 km, and a maximum speed of 260 km/h. (Yonhap)
* Indonesia and Australia have started a joint military exercise called Keris Woomera after the two countries signed a historic defense agreement to strengthen cooperation in dealing with security threats in the Asia-Pacific region.
