On June 2, the Belarusian Defense Ministry announced that the transfer of S-400 air defense systems to the Belarusian armed forces from Russian territory has been completed.

"Currently, in order to improve the defense capabilities of the Union State, measures to enhance the combat capabilities of military formations and units on the territory of the Republic of Belarus continue," the ministry said.
The transfer of another S-400 air defense missile system to the Armed Forces of Belarus from the territory of the Russian Federation has been completed."
In addition, the Belarusian Defense Ministry also said that plans to rotate military units of this country and Russian units in the joint force are being implemented.
Earlier, on May 29, the ministry confirmed that another Russian S-400 air defense missile system had been deployed to Belarus, and the new equipment would be put into combat duty in the near future. Belarusian military personnel are ready to apply their knowledge and skills in practice to ensure the country's security.
Meanwhile, Moscow stressed that the supply of S-400 air defense systems is carried out within the framework of military and military-technical cooperation between Belarus and Russia.
Commander of the Belarusian Air Defense Force Andrei Lukyanovich affirmed that the S-400 is Russia's most modern air defense system, capable of attacking any aerial target at a distance of up to 400km.
