Star Neymar is expected to leave PSG to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal this week.
On the evening of August 14, reputable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano turned on the keyword "Here we go" in the deal of Neymar leaving PSG to Al-Hilal. Romano wrote on his personal page: "After the huge offer was revealed two days ago, the agreements have been approved by all parties involved. Neymar will arrive in Saudi Arabia this week with a 2-year contract. Neymar will wear the number 10 shirt at Al-Hilal. PSG will receive a transfer fee of no less than 100 million euros. The medical examination will be completed today."

Previously, L'Équipe confirmed that Neymar had agreed to sign a 2-year contract with Al-Hilal and "pocket" 160 million euros/season. This is a much larger number than the 40 million euros/season salary he is currently receiving at PSG. A few days ago, the press reported that Neymar wanted to leave PSG in the summer of 2023. The former Barca star is said to have received notice from coach Luis Enrique that he is no longer in PSG's plans. There have even been many rumors that Neymar will reunite with his old team Barca and accept a 3/4 salary reduction.
Neymar holds the transfer record as the most expensive player in the world when he moved from Barca to PSG for 222 million euros. Neymar's move to the West Asian team Al-Hilal was a big surprise to experts because the 31-year-old star is still at the peak of his form and has yet to win the Golden Ball as expected. At Al-Hilal, Neymar will play alongside 4 quality rookies: Malcom, Ruben Neves, Milinkovic-Savic and Kalidou Koulibaly.
