Ly Nha Ky and Thao Trang talk about their life full of ups and downs
In the latest episode of the series Afternoon Tea with Aunt Chanh, Ly Nha Ky and singer Thao Trang have the opportunity to open up about their life and career full of ups and downs behind the spotlight.
Thao Trang admits that she is a strong, independent person. This personality was forged through many events in her life.

"I was born into an incomplete family. I was not as lucky as other friends because I experienced many sad things in my family. My parents did not live happily. My father was a drunkard. His drinking habit led to many dramas in the family.
After my parents' marriage broke down, my siblings and I followed my mother to the South. From then on, my life gradually turned a new page.
At my current age, I consider happiness to be moderate, knowing how to feel satisfied. In addition, I do not ask for anything, just focus on living in the present. Although life has many ups and downs, I still feel happy and optimistic because I have my 7-year-old son by my side," the female singer confided.
Listening to her colleague's story, Ly Nha Ky also confided: "Despite the ups and downs, my life is quite lucky when all my future plans are successful.
At the age of 23, I dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur so I opened a company. Once I became the boss, I dreamed of owning a villa. So I switched to real estate, buying farmland. At the age of 25, I was lucky enough to own a villa in Phu My Hung, District 7 (HCMC).
Bored, I wanted to do diplomacy again. So I became the Honorary Consul of Romania. I also dreamed of doing art and now have some of my own works."
"From designer dresses to 2 billion VND dresses, I only like wearing wedding dresses"
When asked by Ly Nha Ky about her intention to start a family after many years of being a single mother, Thao Trang said she was completely ready to start a family if she found the right person. Everyone wants to find a life partner. She is on that journey.
"From now until the end of my life, I hope to get a husband. But sometimes, I also think, what is the meaning of marriage when so many people break up," the female singer confided.
Ly Nha Ky admitted that this is the stage where she longs to find her other half and wear a wedding dress to the altar.
Ly Nha Ky also shared her feelings when hearing that: "I sympathize with Thao Trang. This is the stage where I long to find my other half and wear a wedding dress to the altar.
I love wearing wedding dresses, sometimes I even take wedding dress photos with my crew. Many people think I am getting married but I am not.
I imagine, if I could wear a wedding dress and get married for real, I would probably cry a lot. Of all my dresses, from designer dresses to 2 billion VND dresses, I only like to wear wedding dresses.
However, I'm a bit hesitant to open up to someone new. Witnessing many broken cases, even breaking up right before the wedding, I can't help but worry."
Regarding Ly Nha Ky's concerns, Thao Trang commented: "I think the current relationships of couples are not strong partly due to social networks.
Since the advent of social media, there have been many "flirters" finding each other. A boyfriend only needs to like a hot girl's photo online to have an affair with his girlfriend. This can lead to arguments."
Ly Nha Ky thinks that the problem of broken relationships also comes from too high material needs.
The need to use branded goods, buy luxury cars, houses, and travel has gradually created a common standard when getting married. Therefore, many girls often ask their boyfriends, do you have a house, will you give me money?
On the men's side, they also ask their girlfriends whether they have a job and are financially independent.
"From then on, people come together by calculation, love is no longer like our parents' time, a thatched hut with two golden hearts. Loyalty and monogamy are now very vague," the actress of "The Beauty and the Tycoon" confided.
