According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duong (Founder & CEO of UC Talent), this is the solution to his own job search problem when he just returned from Ho Chi Minh City to his hometown Da Nang.
As a web 3 platform that leverages the power of AI and Blockchain technology, UC Talent is a start-up born with the desire to build a "market" for recruiting human resources in the technology field.
“In 2022, a friend introduced me to a blockchain startup and exposed me to this futuristic technology.
Soon after, the idea of UC Talent was conceived. By 2023, I started to form a project team and build the platform,” said Mr. Duong.
This is a platform that connects technology professionals with businesses that need to recruit. Anyone who joins the platform can become a head hunter and earn money from that job.

“Compared to traditional methods, recruiting through this platform will help reduce intermediary buyers, reduce costs for recruiting businesses, increase the speed and efficiency of recruitment technology thanks to AI and Blockchain technology,” Mr. Duong shared.
This year, projects apply a variety of new technologies such as: artificial intelligence (AI), web3, blockchain technology, augmented reality technology (AR), 360-degree virtual reality technology (vR360)...
Currently, this platform has about 800 personnel profiles with 600 job applications submitted and processed on the system, 3 companies are using this platform. For a start-up that was only established in June 2024, these are impressive numbers.
“Winning the top prize of the SURF Startup Competition will be a huge boost for UC Talent to go faster and further.
Besides, by participating in SURF 2024, we also have the opportunity to connect with students of Danang University of Technology, potential future employees," Mr. Duong expected.
Great opportunity for student start-ups
This year, many student start-up projects also excelled and competed in the final round of the SURF 2024 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Among them, there were projects that won prizes and were highly appreciated by the judges.
