Hot weather nationwide, some places over 38°C
On April 21, the Hoa Binh region, from Nghe An to Phu Yen, the Central Highlands and the South will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly 35-37°C, some places will be over 37°C such as: Mai Chau (Hoa Binh) 38.3°C, Tuong Duong (Nghe An) 39.3°C, Tuyen Hoa (Quang Binh) 37.2°C, Ba To (Quang Ngai) 37.1°C, Ayunpa (Gia Lai) 37.7°C, Dong Phu ( Binh Phuoc ) 37.2°C. The lowest relative humidity is commonly 45-55%.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen has hot weather, some places have extremely hot weather with the highest temperature commonly 36-38°C, some places over 38°C; the lowest relative humidity commonly 45-50%.
The Central Highlands and the South continue to have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36°C, some places above 36°C; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 50-55%.
In addition, the Northern region has localized heat with the highest temperature in some places above 35°C.
Warning:
The heat wave in the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will last until April 24, and will likely ease from around April 25.
The heat wave in the Central Highlands and the South will continue for many days to come.

Severe heat combined with low humidity and southwest winds cause the foehn effect, increasing the risk of fires in residential areas and the risk of forest fires.
Health risks: Heat can cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke from prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
