The rustic charm of the fishing village is felt by visitors through the fresh seafood caught from the sea. Especially, the hands-on experience with fishermen right on the beach they visit creates a unique characteristic of this national tourist area. At 5 am, a large number of tourists have already gathered at the fishing village beach. Many come to watch the sunrise over the sea, some to swim, and others to see the fishermen catching seafood in traditional basket boats, a rather unusual sight for city dwellers or people from mountainous regions. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong from Binh Phuoc brought her family to Mui Ne for a vacation. She recounted: "The whole family was surprised and delighted to see dozens of small fishing boats casting their nets along the coast in the morning. The fishermen immediately removed the fish and shrimp caught in the nets right on the beach and sold them to tourists and groups of people who collected them to resell at the market. My mother, who is over 70 years old, saw the fish caught in the nets and asked to help remove them to buy some. She said it was the first time she had seen small fishing boats casting nets, and she really enjoyed seeing the fish jumping around on the beach. Although she couldn't cook them on the spot, she was confident that the fish she removed herself would taste better than any fish bought at the market…"

The Mui Ne National Tourist Area is quite crowded this season, especially with international tourists coming to winter. Besides the beaches of Hon Rom, Rang, the sand dunes of Doi Hong, and Suoi Tien, the number of tourists visiting the Fishing Village is also very high. Hundreds of cars of all types circulate on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, making the road seem congested. To better serve tourists and local residents, and to contribute to the urban development of Phan Thiet towards a modern, smart tourist city, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the adjustment of the investment plan for the repair and upgrading of Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Huynh Thuc Khang roads, from Hoang Ngoc Tourist Area to the Fishing Village intersection in Phan Thiet city. Accordingly, the project's investment scope includes repairing and upgrading Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Huynh Thuc Khang roads with a length of approximately 5,100 m, a road width of 9 m, sidewalks of 4 m on each side, and a roadbed width of 17 m after expansion, with a finished asphalt concrete surface. The project also includes a rainwater and wastewater drainage system, sidewalks, tree planting areas, a street lighting system combined with decorative lighting, technical manholes, traffic safety systems, and fire hydrants. It also involves repairing and expanding Rang Bridge, relocating technical infrastructure and other related auxiliary items.

According to the Phan Thiet City Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the project has a total investment of approximately 309.034 billion VND. The investment capital comes from the provincial budget within the public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and is carried over to the period 2026-2030. Currently, the Management Board is implementing construction items according to plan…
