On the afternoon of December 24, Thai Binh Customs Branch and the Provincial Business Association held a conference to summarize coordination work in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for coordination work in 2025.

At the conference, the leaders of Thai Binh Customs Branch gave an overview of the organizational structure and the situation of customs clearance operations in 2024. Since the beginning of the year, the Branch has received and processed 145,925 customs declarations of enterprises exporting and importing goods with a total turnover of more than 5 billion USD. The Branch has performed the task of collecting the budget with a revenue of 952 billion VND, ensuring accuracy and completeness, without errors or loss of import and export tax. In order to support enterprises in implementing the provisions of the law on import and export, in 2024, the Customs Branch coordinated with the Provincial Business Association to organize many thematic conferences, training courses to propagate and disseminate laws, advise and guide enterprises and import and export professional officers to effectively implement new regulations and policies related to customs clearance activities to ensure accuracy, speed, timeliness and efficiency. The two sides also closely coordinate in removing difficulties for businesses, enhancing competitiveness, improving the investment and business environment of the province, contributing to attracting investment resources, and developing the province's business community to become increasingly stronger.

The leaders of the Business Association shared the difficulties in the professional work of Thai Binh Customs Branch and the unit's efforts in reforming administrative procedures, digitalizing public services in import and export activities to facilitate businesses to clear goods effectively. Those efforts have been highly appreciated by the business community through the DDCI Index score in 2024 of Thai Binh Customs Branch, increasing by 12 places compared to 2023, rising to the top of the group of departments, branches and sectors with a fairly high competitiveness ranking...

Representatives of several business leaders discussed and proposed solutions to improve the quality of coordination work to support the development of the business community.

Promoting the results achieved in the past year, in 2025, Thai Binh Customs Branch agreed to continue to coordinate with the Provincial Business Association to focus on in-depth innovation of content and forms of coordination in a practical direction, strictly implementing legal regulations and creating favorable conditions for enterprises to carry out production, business and export effectively. In particular, the two sides will increase exchanges, dialogues, and information sharing to grasp difficulties and obstacles and accompany in promptly removing import and export procedures to help enterprises clear goods quickly, for the sustainable development of enterprises.
