The model focuses on hardware training, OPS software operations, logic and configuration of the DCS Netmation control system.

Previously, to instruct new technical staff on the DCS system, the operating control principles for equipment in the power plant, the company used purely theoretical documents, difficult to visualize, with little practical operations. The outstanding advantage of the Netmation DCS Model System is the practical operating environment, similar to the current control system of Phu My 1 Thermal Power Plant, without affecting the operating system. The model helps technicians and operators to research, practice simulating realistic and intuitive control logic, learn the operating principles, practice finding errors, checking, replacing and installing, configuring all hardware such as MPS (CPU), I/O Module... conveniently and practice practical experience, helping to understand and grasp the work better.

Phu My Thermal Power Company has built programs, instructions, training processes and applied DCS Netmation to bring about efficiency, practical benefits, promote the scientific research capacity of the technical staff at the unit, help improve the quality of the team of technicians and operators in accessing new technologies, promote the application of science and technology and digital transformation of the company.

According to the company representative, the construction of the DCS Netmation system model contributes to improving the effectiveness of model training, monitoring, operation, and visualization for technical experts, contributing to improving the quality and operating skills, ensuring the successor force in the C&I field has high quality, gradually mastering new technology. To further improve the quality and features of this system, the company is planning to build, add programs, advanced features, expand and install more field equipment, factory models to complete in the coming time to achieve more optimal efficiency.
