Young man stormed into a coffee shop, shot someone and then fled

On the evening of November 7, the Investigation Police Agency of Thang Binh District, Quang Nam Province informed that the unit had just persuaded Huynh Van Hoi (25 years old, residing in Phuoc Am village, Binh Trieu commune, Thang Binh district) to surrender.

According to the initial investigation, at around 7:20 p.m. on November 5, Vo Hung Thuan (29 years old) was sitting and drinking with a group of friends at a coffee shop in Ha Lam town, Thang Binh district. Due to a previous conflict with Vo Hung Thuan, Hoi immediately took a homemade pistol and rushed into the shop, shooting and injuring him.

Seeing this, some other people in Mr. Thuan's group jumped in to stop him and took away Hoi's gun. After that, the perpetrator fled the scene.

Upon receiving the report, Thang Binh District Police organized forces to examine the scene, investigate and search for the suspect.

After nearly 2 days of investigation, on the afternoon of November 7, Hoi went to the police station to surrender and confess his actions.

Currently, the police have seized evidence of a homemade pistol and 4 bullets, and have decided to temporarily detain Huynh Van Hoi to continue investigating the case.
