Young man transporting heroin, abandoning motorbike and running away when seeing police

On June 12, according to information from the Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh Province, Task Force 141-QB discovered and arrested a person illegally transporting drugs.

The arrested person is Pham Van Trung (27 years old, residing in Nam Ly ward, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province).

At around 8:20 p.m. on June 11, Task Force 141-QB, while performing patrol and control duties in Luong Ninh commune ( Quang Ninh district), discovered a motorbike with license plate 75F-109.20 driven by Pham Van Trung showing many suspicious signs, so they stopped it for inspection.

Confronted by the authorities, Trung abandoned his vehicle and fled. The task force immediately mobilized forces to pursue and promptly arrested the suspect.

Upon inspection, the team discovered in Trung's pants pocket five pink tablets, seven brown tablets and six plastic bags containing white crystals suspected to be drugs.

This person confessed that the above drugs were pink pills, seven brown tablets were candy-shaped drugs and six plastic bags containing white crystals were ketamine drugs.

Quang Ninh District Police are continuing to investigate and handle the case according to regulations.
