The male actor who caused a stir in "When Life Gives You a Tangerine" returns to the big screen

Having just “caused a stir” with the Korean drama “When Life Gives You a Tangerine”, “Gwan-sik” Park Hae-joon returns to the big screen with a new image in the movie “Yadang: The Three Faces of Betrayal” with two actors Kang Ha-neul and Yoo Hai-jin. The movie will be shown in Vietnamese theaters on May 16.

“Yadang: The Snitch” (English title “Yadang: The Snitch”) is an action, crime film about the character “yadang” - a Korean slang term used to refer to professional informants who provide information about drug dealers to the police or law enforcement agencies.

Notably, this is the first film to take this subject as the main character, creating a difference from conventional crime action films.

Director Hwang Byeong-gug takes viewers deep into the underworld of South Korea’s drug trade as he follows the intertwined stories of three forces: Lee Kang-su (Kang Ha-neul), a notorious “yadang,” Koo Kwan-hee (Yoo Hae-jin), a prosecutor seeking to advance his career using confidential information from the “yadang,” and Oh Sang-jae (Park Hae-joon), a police officer determined to crack down on drug crime. As their ambitions collide, a deadly battle ensues, drawing them all into a dangerous and brutal plot.

The film stars Kang Ha-neul - an actor with impressive roles in "Moon Lovers", "Cops", "When the Camellia Blooms", "Love My Cool Wife", "Squid Game 2"... Kang Ha-neul's role is Lee Kang-su - a character standing on the thin line between good and evil.

As a key actor in Korean cinema, Yoo Hai-jin has starred in four films that have surpassed 10 million ticket sales: “King and the Clown”, “Veteran”, “A Taxi Driver”, and “Exhuma”. In “Yadang: The Three-Faceted Betrayal”, the “freak” Yoo Hai-jin has a charismatic yet cold performance as the ambitious prosecutor Koo Kwan-hee.

Park Hae-joon plays a police officer who persistently breaks up a drug network in Korea. Unlike his role as Gwan-sik in “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” Park Hae-joon excels at portraying the frustration and righteous anger of a police officer fighting corruption in Korean society.

With the participation of 3 famous actors, intense action scenes, and a unique plot, "Yadang: The Three Turnarounds" promises to bring a thrilling, new cinematic experience.
